When Gary Jackson, a bright academic student, suffers life changing injuries in a road traffic accident, his world begins to unravel. Having taught himself to lucid dream, he now spends considerable time in bed, living out fantasies in his own mind that he could never experience in the waking world. However, when his mother-in-law, fighting her own battle with vascular dementia, claims to have witnessed a murder that Gary committed during one of those lucid dreams, Gary starts to question the nature of reality, and wonders if his actions in the dream world have real life consequences.
Meanwhile, in another place, Physics student Gary Jackson finds himself in prison for a murder he has no memory of committing. Can the dreamer help the student get acquitted for a murder everyone saw him commit? Or will Gary spend his life in prison for someone else's crime?
Beginning in the Blue Line, Worldlines explores the lives of our three main characters; Gary Jackson, Michelle Peyton and Sinead O'Brien. Whilst Blue Line Gary experiences what seems a trivial event, its consequences for his counterpart at the birth of the Black Line are far reaching.
As different events play out across the Blue, Red and Green lines, Gary and his friends embark on a discovery that throws all our beliefs about life and death, and what we perceive as reality, completely out of the window.
Purchases are not available directly through this site, as I lack the infrastructure to action them in a timely manner, and for non-UK orders, the increase in delivery cost would not make it worthwhile.
